Dr. Steven Machicek founded Aggieland Orthodontics with a simple goal: to create an orthodontic experience that feels personal, welcoming, affordable and genuinely fun for every patient who walks through the door.

He believes orthodontics is about more than straight teeth — it’s about building confidence, creating relationships, and helping people feel right at home like family throughout the process.

As a proud Aggie, Dr. Machicek earned his Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Science from Texas A&M University before completing his Doctorate of Dental Surgery, Certificate in Orthodontics, and Master of Science at the University of Texas Dental Branch at Houston. He combines that advanced training with a commitment to modern, evidence-based care and a patient experience that feels comfortable, clear, and customized from start to finish.

One of Dr. Machicek’s favorite parts of orthodontics is getting to know patients and their families over time. He loves watching confidence grow as smiles change, and he values the friendships that often come along with the journey. His goal is for every patient to leave with not only a smile they love, but also the feeling that they were truly cared for along the way.
